Mr Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, the Defence Secretary says that, the attempts made by the J.V.P. rebels group to provoke the former L.T.T.E. supporters who were rehabilitated and released to the society and create a violent situation in the country, will not be allowed.
He also mentions that,an attempt made by this group to enter the residence of the rehabilitated young female L.T.T.E supporter at Kilinochchi, by force, and conduct lectures, was foiled by the intelligence sectors.
He firmly emphasizes that, he is ready to make any commitment to suppress this nature of attempts,not allowing the people of this country to re experience the sufferings created by the 30 year war.
He also stated that, the intelligence sectors are in a continues alert regarding the attempts made by these groups to maintain relationships with the rehabilitated L.T.T.E. members and create unrest situations in the country
