Drunken BBS gangster monks arrested for breaking the curfew

Two members of the Buddhist clergy who had been travelling in a three wheeler drunk and violating the curfew that had been imposed in Aluthgama after the racial clashes that took place there recently, have been arrested by the Police.

According to Police sources, the driver and the two clergymen have been heavily intoxicated at the time of the arrest and they had also scolded the Police officers by in obscene language.

However, the suspects had been taken before the Kalutara Additional Magistrate and have been ordered to be kept under remand custody until the 25th.
