Once again proving their religious extremist face, the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) organization repeatedly assaulted a small child accusing him to be a Muslim during one of their "Rallying Sinhalese" marches held in Badulla. Heavily drunk organizers of the BBS scolded the boy with obscene words and assaulted him repeatedly. (See Video here form 2.50 minutes)
Afterward a policeman intervened and freed the child form his assailants. It was later revealed that the child had come to see the parade and had gone into the crowd to listen to the speeches.
It is now evident that the extremist fascist policies of the BBS have now even extended towards assaulting small children. How this relates to Buddhism, is a question worth seeking an answer.
